Parental Involvement

We know how crucial it is to get a parent involved in their child’s learning. That’s why Home Materials are a significant part of the program. Families receive a Student Kit once a month.

Each kit includes a Family Activity Guide so that parents can read and reread the stories with their child. Parents also get activities and craft ideas that they can share with their child—making it easy to extend the learning to the home.

Families get a CD that they can play in the car, at home, wherever it’s convenient. The songs and listening activities and the month’s story are also on the CD, so that families can reinforce the learning at home. Every other month, the family receives a musical instrument so that they can play together with their child. A Parent DVD explains how the family can get the most out of the Student Kit.
